In a thread I was reading yesterday, which I can't find/remember, I believe I read that with a PMA you can't run the starter safety relay? Is this true? If so is there no way to incorparate a starter safety relay then with a PMA?

I think it would be still do-able Dave, it's just you wont have the yellow wire anymore (i think its the yellow one for that, yeah?). You'd just have to trigger it some other way. cheers
Pretty sure that yellow wire is un-rectified AC power.

From my understanding;

The starter relay watches for power from the alternator, so you can't hit the button while the bike is running, hence the 'safety' part...

As long as you're aware of that, you could take the relay out of the mix. Or, find another power source that is hot only when the bike is running.

No yellow wire, no safety switch...no big deal, the starter will still work...only difference is that it will still work when the engine is running...just like a car.
