Porsche Tappets

I have this set of rockers & Porsche tappets from some time ago does this set up look kosher or has to much meat been ground of the rocker

Looks right to me.

Stock, that section of the rocker is about 12mm thick. It is usually ground down to about 8mm (4mm removed) to allow assembly clearance for the rockers. Yours is a bit under 8 but I think it's still OK.

You might consider shortening the new screws a little bit. That way they will more closely match the weight of the originals. Easy to do with an abrasive cut-off blade in a Dremel .....

Got my 81 mm pistons with rings got barrels bored head all ready with new over size valves, porsche tappets fitted BUT bent a oil wiper ring fitting one of the pistons FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess anyone out there would not have a spare 81mm oil wiper ring going spare would help me out heaps. would love you forever.
