XS-2 (72-73) engine:
okay, rebuild is pretty straight forward, but what I want to know is can I use an engine case from another year; what year(s) will work? The reason being that the top half of the engine case has a piece missing out of it (another post, earlier). I may decide to rephase it, and I will need to change rods, timing, flywheels etc.; so what should I be looking for so that I can use it to go either way with the rebuild (stock or rephase)?
