"Unplanned Dismantling"

Thunderfoot does a fairly extensive job of sticking the boot in...
Frankly, I hadn't known the stupidity of the details. Why, it's like nobody there ever designed a manned mission before, which may be right, because all the good ol' boys have long since retired.

Longtimeago I worked with an engineer who had worked on Saturn 5 etc... said flying a liquid fuel rocket was akin to pushing a wet noodle...imho loss of attitude control (pinwheel) was kiss of death, they break. That said I dislike Muskiefeller, but I don't know why... Notrustim index is high.

The evil degenerate commie Chinese who are said to have to copy the great engineering of zone west because that can't originate properly, have landed on the backside of the moon. This time the film was not shot in Laurel Canyon.

Here is a picture the chinese sent back to prove it.

I remember the booster explosion late eighties. George (lab supervisor, something or other) outlined the failure in our radar lab from info available. I was in TR1/U2 reconnaissance radar at the time. It was a weird feeling. Morton Thycol had purchased equipment from my previous employer and I had done the programming for the machines that likely built the exploding booster. My function then was to insure our carrier (delivering wetted filament strands[fiber glass or carbon or aramid) advanced at the select rate. Obviously my work either passed muster or was modified over the years as there were numerous launches after 1981.

they got lucky
it was right at control limits near snatch
burn-back damage has to be mitigated
earlier engine start would help terminal stability
