There is a repellent for raccoons, rabbits etc. I sprayed my entire back yard including the fences in early summer. It worked,
but I need to respray again soon. Bob, you should be able to just spray your perimeter's 3-4' and see what happens.
I don't know what your dog would do though.

We got lots of yotis and a small dog. Let her out loose day and night, it hasn't worked yet.............
Yeah we worry a bit but, I think the dog gets it, Sounds brave but has a turbo full retreat mode.
She ranged at first but perhaps experience has taught her to stay round the buildings.
The dog also can take cover amongst the horses if pressed.
Fifth free range dog since we've lived here, three died of old age.
The Weimaraner had liver failure.

In the wild a chicken will roost high enough so they arn't fox bait...................making a hen house changes the natural order so it an't the fox's fault they are easy prey.

I need to set up a game trail camera behind my house. I've seen a flock of 30 turkey hens come out of the woods followed by a huge Tom. We have a deer herd with anywhere from 6-10 and I've heard a fox crying for a mate late at night. Have not seen any yotes though. Maybe my dog is too big or they stay to themselves. I have seen some almost as large as wolves close to downtown Detroit though and a few deer running the streets downtown late at night. There's more animals there than you would think....

When I was living in Austin I was walking down the sidewalk one night to the store, and by the streetlight I saw a weird animal. It was about the size of a large cat and it was walking along crossing the street with its back arched like when a cat arches its back. It had a kind of strange gait for a cat but I assumed it was a cat until it disappeared down the storm water opening in a curb on the other sidewalk.
