Thanks for the pics and inspiration. Great seeing more cool bikes. But truth be told, I kind of like it more when you see the spirit in the build. Those seems to me to be a bit too perfect ;)

Less than perfect is not traditional Japanese. They are perfectionists. Nothing wrong with that. None of them appeal to me, but I can appreciate the amount of work they take to look like that.
 
The hardtails are illegal to ride in Japan, only original rigid frames are allowed. That is why you see a lot of strutted and swingarm bikes. They didn't allow spectators to ride their bikes to the show for noise reasons this year, there is usually a lot of awesome bikes in the parking lot.
