what is a url, and how do i find one

i am new the this, and not all that great with computers but i am just curious where to find the url for photos so i can post them and the pic just comes up in the thread....i read the FAQ about posting pick but i didnt see anywhere where it says how to get a url, just to post the url....i have probably missed it somewhere, but i hope not.

The url is the part in your browser that starts with http://

To post a pic the stuff you type into the post text box looks like

Remove the spaces in

url means Uniform Resource Locator . Basically web addresses. This site has limitations on how large of a picture you can upload because XS650.com has to host them. .
The way I do it so I can post larger pictures is I upload pics to my photobucket account. Photobucket hosts the pictures. Free to join and upload your pictures. When you upload a pic to your account when you mouse over a picure , underneath several lines with different codes appear like the one atomic posted . The "image code". Then I post my text and follow it with the image code to post a picture. Another way is to click on the icon above the reply box and you'll see one that says image when you mouse over it. It adds the [img/] on both ends of the...url you put in.

They're active only in the hours just after dawn and just before dark. The best way to get one is climb a tree while it's still dark and be very quiet and wait for one. Except for the Ural urls which prefer broad daylight. You can also find them in the urinal.
