what size pipes for a 2-1 scrambler exhaust

I am going to build a 2 to 1 scrambler exhaust for my '80. The engine and ignition is stock and I am running pod filters with 1 size up pilot and 2 size up main jets. I am planning on 1.5" for the headers but what size collector/muffler would everyone recommend?

I am thinking 2" for the collector outlet/muffler

I would just look at what other exhaust builders have done and copy the best one you can find .
