what to do with old rotor?

I just pulled the old rotor off my 80 xs650 and was wondering if anyone bought these things. mine is no good!

It's garage art waiting to happen. A clock face, a dart board for magnet tipped darts, it's the seat for a bar stool and a hundred things more. Knock yourself out!

It's a good core. Save it. Or, give it to someone who will.

Yeah they are rare I probably am down to 7 or 8 bad ones.

You can throw the old rotor out and replace it with a Chiwanese POS that will probably give you grief, or you can send it to Custom Rewind in Birmingham, AL and get it back better than new. It's entirely up to you.

Wrapped in foam, they ship fine in a padded flat rate envelope, about $7.00.

Why would you need a known bad? Just don't touch the probe all the way to a good one, and call it bad... And, it's nuts to throw them away too.
