i installed my new wheel bearings today in my new wheels, but i forgot to install the spacer that goes between the bearings in the front wheel. will this hurt anything? do i need to remove the bearing and put this in? is it possible to remove the bearing with and reuse it or do i need to get new bearings?

It certainly will hurt if that spacer isn't in there. The bearings will squeeze together when you tighten the axle, bind up, and get ruined. Yes, you have to remove one bearing and put the spacer in. If you can remove it by just pounding on it's outer race, it may survive the ordeal. If not, it'll need replacing.
