Hi guys, I've just got some carbs, all in bits, 3 sets but all with bits missing! All appear to be Mikuni BS38's.
I'm looking to see which may be the best to rebuild and use on my 650D, I've got 1 set with chrome/steel tops, they have no. 125 on the throttle flap.
The others have 533-00 stamped on the float bowl flange, and no. 120 on the main flaps, they all have got only 1 choke plunger per pair, and all have throttle cables.
My bike has got 2 choke plungers and only 1 throttle cable!
I've only got 2 needles, no. 4N8 with clip on 4th notch, counting down from the top, I've also got 120 main jets and 25 pilots, anyone got any advice please?
Last thing: has anyone tried those replacement diaphrams where you cut off the old ones and just slip the new ones on, sort of like a tyre, sat in the rim without the molded plastic bit holding it on
