Unless you are building a big bang motor, any crank configuration on a twin will separate the intake pulses enough that it won't require a bigger carb.
I ran a 40 mm on one and just had to play with jets because it was a little rich from the start. Harley carbs come with big jets so if its all you got get some small jets and play. Its not going to increase HP but sometime you got to use what you got.
Nah... agreed... 45's too fat. Even my 36mm Mik round-slide would have been way too fat without an appropriately leaner main, needle, needle jet, and pilot.
