Wiring harness-ignition switch issue

i had this all set but took apart to paint.

With switch on Ist position I get turn signals no dash lights. 2nd position brings dash lights but no turn signals.

I have brown/white disconnected. (That is flasher relay right?)

Any pitfalls here? It's all chocolate wires together in the 4 way right?
74 TX650A with stock harness

Yeah this is the one I was working off of, so I think the diff is just powering that chocolate wire

There's brown and dark brown (chocolate) wires. The dark brown (chocolate) is power for the left turn signals only, the normal lighter brown is power for most everything else. The dash lights won't come on in switch position one unless the headlight on/off switch is on. They will come on in position 2, that's your "Park" position. Dash lights and tail light should come on, and key should be removable.

Thank you that was exactly it. It was really all set. But since I did t have headlight plugged in I thought there was an issue.
