Tell me about rebuild kits for the XS650B master cylinder.
In the M/C for my '75 XS650B, I can move the plunger with compressed air and I can squirt brake cleaner through it. The plunger doesn't return on it's on, though. I see in the diagrams there's a spring in there....maybe my spring is stuck or??
It looks like I need to remove a snap ring or circlip and pull out the plunger assembly.
I know it's the same as several early RD models (75-76 XS650, 72 XS2, 73-74 TX500, 74 TX650, 76-78 RD400, 73-75 RD350, 73-75 RD250) and is part #1A0-W0041-00-00.
I also found one for a 1976 RD200 1979 RD400 1980 TZ250, Part #: 535-W0041-10. Is this the same kit?
Maybe there's a 2 stroke site out there that details the rebuild of this early style M/C?
