Stripped, cleaned and rebuilt my bs38 carbs, looking at the dead cylinder method of setting up same and I don't see any mention of the fact that there are two throttle cables. I get the setting of tick over/ air fuel ratio but what is the best method to balance the throttle cables? Obviously if they don't operate at exactly the same time, then the carbs will always be out of sync.
My model doesn't have the inlet barbs but I have ordered a couple to fit in the existing inlet rubbers. Is this worth doing?
Great site, I've found the tech section invaluable so far.

Apologies, as soon as I posted the question, the 'other similar posts' popped up so I pretty much have my answer....but being of an age...I've found it impossible to delete this post.

This is the one I had back in the 80's...had to sell it after 15 years due to the usual, baby, mortgage rate rocketing, cut backs at work etc. Must say I'm missing the twin discs though, in spite of replacing the master cylinder, lines, caliper, pads ( all new) and deglazing the disc....braking is still back in the 70's
