One more off the list! Although I have done a lot more today, none of which is on the list! I installed the brake lever and arm, added the chain, bled the hydro clutch, added the footpegs, brake pedal, replaced the exhaust seals, and added a belt to the tank.

It never rains, but it pours! More issues!!:banghead::banghead::banghead:Managed to strip one of the exhaust brackets on the frame, where my foot peg is mounted. Also, my gear lever seems to have no teeth present, so it is rendered useless!!!:banghead::mad::wtf::banghead::banghead::banghead:

On to some pics then!!

Haha, LOVE that leather belt! That'll get you a free beer out here!

Can't quite see it in the pics, but may want to add to your list:

"Cotter key axles and brake stay before first ride."

I do have the cotter key for the axle, but its not in yet! I will get it in there, don't worry!

The brake stay is in, as is the cotter key for it. Edit, I just noticed the one one the drum right?? Yep, that's not in there yet!!

jeezus AW shes looking Fannnnnntastic :yikes:

If that bike doesn't win some shows theres no justice in the World .

Love the belt .....ahem.. tank strap, it looks crazaaaaaazy

Comon just a last concerted effort and you'll be riding it down the street this summer.

Download and print out a A4 Calendar for May and June and fill in actual deadline dates for finishing stuff . It worked for me on both my bike and scoot.

Sellotape the calendars to your desk in front of the screen or, better still, do a print screen (ctrl -PrtSc) paste it into Paint and save as a Jpeg then make the calendar your desktop background  simples.

Wow thanks Peanut! I appreciate the kind words!! I have a deadline, I got a little one coming in August!! !Got to be done by then!!!!

Hi Airwolfie, that bike is looking very good. I like the attention to detail and really like the tank strap. Only thing is - Whats holding your trousers up now? :)
Seriously, well done!

the bike is looking damn good Brother!
August uh? crack that whip! :wink2:
To what gear lever do You refer?

Thanks Brother! Getting there! I meant the gear shift lever down on the left side. This also means my selector shaft is buggered too.....

Looking good. The list is getting shorter.:thumbsup:

Thanks scabber!

Thanks Paul! Lots of inspiration on this site and your builds! Not my belt haha!! I got a few spare anyhow if needs are must!

Airwolfie, yes, I like the belt. All kinds of emergency uses.

ANLAF

Thanks Anlaf!

One more off the list. Did my brake line. I decided to go single disc as I can't afford to go twin right now. Maybe later I will do the upgrade, but I think one disc with four pot calliper is plenty stopping power!!

Right side calliper has been refurbished, and is on it's way back to me. Hopefully I willl get it tomorrow or wednesday!

well done AW thats a biggy off the list. Its the sort of job that you tend to keep putting off cos there are several options and you haven't decided which would be the best.:D

Hey Airwolfie brakes are very important for sure.
I did a upgrade 4 piston brembo setup, I'll tell you that it has plenty of stopping power.
I use 2 fingers to stop and could if I wanted to lockup that front wheel with 2 fingers.
I think you are gtg. But that being said I live in flatland no hills.
