I got very lucky with that one! hope to be in the putting together faze soon Ground frame tabs and such till 12pm last night! had to weld low spots will grind to day.
 
How have I missed this thread for so long? Keep the updates and pictures coming!
 
Finished one rotor carrier also blasted the black paint off. And Here's my poor mans cnc router,

No not yet! hell i rough out some stuff on my miter saw! way faster than jig or sawzall ( one day i will get a good band saw) The one i want is about $2,000

Progress. Got frame back, installed motor in frame did the lay motor on side and slid frame on and then lifted with my car lift. installed Pamco and up graded charging system carbs on... still gotta pic tank and seat color.

Made some progress got it to fire up! Found out about the clutch push rod seal deal... ordered 3 more. Put on progressive shocks gotta cut front plate corners, make new bar clamps, make seat cover and paint tank and seat.

You gave up on those blue pigy back shocks - were they no good or what?
 
They where ebay specials i think $ 65.00 just for mock up you get what you pay for..... the progressive's are better and i got them 13.5 long.

I was considering using those cheap Ebay shocks. Are they air assist? Are they good enough for casual riding in my flat terrain FL?
 
I did not ride on them at all. Suppose to be nitrogen filled , they seamed kind stiff for my liking i'm 200lbs with out gear. if you find them for cheap they may be worth having around.Sorry i cant give more info.
