tx/xs motormount conversion problem...anyone got a tx front motor mount?

ive got a 73 roller and it didnt come with any mounts. got a few 477 motors recently and they came with some motor mounts but the front box looking mount is WAY to wide for the old 73 frame. any suggestions, anybody got a tx front mount for sale or should i cut it in half, take the excess out and reweld it?(like i know how to do that....it sounds good though).

all the mounts are completely different from 70-73 and 74-84. there is a complete set on ebay for 20
