Never heard of boiled peanuts, so looked 'em up. And found out that boiled peanuts are an important part of southern food culture, they are the official state snack of South Carolina and most people either love them or hate them.Hey, I'll stop and eat BBQ - even Gator - with ya, but I ain't eatin' no boiled peanuts
Not sure. Why would you want to put earl where the ole goes? And where is it the stuff in your crank case is “earl”?
I like them with hot sauce.Never heard of boiled peanuts, so looked 'em up. And found out that boiled peanuts are an important part of southern food culture, they are the official state snack of South Carolina and most people either love them or hate them.
So we're back to Marmite. Or Vegemite. Which is the same thing. Or isn't.

My dad was Polish; we ate all that shit too…. I quite liked it.When I was a kid growing up in Perth, there were no fast food outlets, no shopping malls, fast food was fish and chips or a pie. For me, wierd food back was pig's trotters, tripe, sheep's brains and ox tongue, still is.
Oh yes! cubed sweet potaotes, regular potatoes, acorn squash, carrots and onions all tossed in oil (or melted butter to be heart healthy) seasoned to your preferences (need garlic) on parchment paper baked on a "cookie" sheet. ;^) 350F (175C) about 40 minutes turning a couple times. Yum Yum!So for my sweet potato chips, would cut the tubers lengthwise into 1/2" square pieces, coat them with oil, possibly dust with salt and paprika and roast in a hot oven on an oven tray. Which might be a baking sheet in the US?
Why can't I find them?(can 100 mississippi roadside vendors be wrong?)
You're just lucky?Why can't I find them?
I moved from Beaver Dam to LA (Lower Alabama ). As I recall, boiled peanuts was an "acquired taste." Best head back down there and try again.Boiled peanuts; stopped and bought some, (can 100 mississippi roadside vendors be wrong?) Yup!

Had my buddy's bachelor party there. A bunch of us from Milwaukee, Maddison, and Green Bay rented a house. That town was forever changed...actually it's probably just as it has always been. Went to what seemed to be the only bar in town. One friend opted to wear a dress and everyone kept congratulating us and telling us we were "brave". We were just not in the way they thoughtYup.
Too be honest it may have a been along a road more over towards eastern Alabama. Why can't I find them?
