The 36 spoke ones do, yes, but that Heritage 48 spoke hub is obviously different (more spokes). The brake plate castings changed in appearance slightly over the years but will swap. Early versions had tabs and a tapped hole for a brake shoe wear indicator. Even after that was discontinued, Yamaha still used up their remaining supply of castings, they just sawed the tab for the cable off and didn't drill the sensor hole. Here's a '77 plate that's like that .....
In '78, Yamaha started using a new fresh casting and they are the cleanest looking (no more tab or sensor hole ) .....
