It looks good enough to save. Just don't go for a total restoration to factory specification. A good wash will do it wonders. Painting is an alternative to chrome, just depends what you are looking for.The only chrome I'd go for is the forks if needed. Hopefully the gaiters saved them. In the UK it would cost £160 to have the the forks ground, rust spots build up, hard chromed then ground to specification. When you take the head off if there is no rust in the cyclinders above the top rings then you may not even have to fit new rings. Just play it all by ear. Before doing too much work, drop the oil just so you know it isn't full of water.
