1974 XS650 gas question

Just a quick question for you guys. I bought a 1974 XS650 and I’m just wondering if 94 octane gasoline is good/safe to use?
Just want to double check because I heard someone say to be careful since it burns hotter then 87 or 89 and can blow the engine or something like this.

94 octane would be fine.

It's the lower octane fuels that can burn hotter.
