Perhaps the 277° is closer to the ideal cross-plane than we realize?


 
I like that KTM uses the 285* twin, I’ve been riding, racing and building them for a quarter of a century, their intro into MotoGP was scoffed at until they started winning (in a very short time frame by gp standards)! it’s good to see that there advanced engineering is finally getting the attention of the masses. Ditto for the reinvented Triumph!
