Hi everybody
Been working on the front engine mount this weekend to match the rear with the ardcore hardtail.
Btw I'm pretty happy of the final result
Here is the rear one ardcore include with the hardtail
First I've made a JIG from the original front motor mount
After the JIG was completed I have Tig welded the new one in the JIG
SO the new one is bolt-on
Here is the final result!
BTW If anybody is interrested to buy this front motor mount
I'll make some for sale!

Some serious undercut on those motor mount welds. Nice Jig

right after the soda blast I've polished the edge of the fins
and I've painted the engine in small section and wipe the edge of the fins with a Q-tips
and acetone to remove the fresh paint

When you wipe the fin edges with acetone does it cause any damage to the paint just inside of the fin? I just imagine that the paint on the edges would be affected.

no damage at all but you have to dry a little bit the Q-tips by shaking it before to wipe!
