For about a year i have been running a HHB charging system. It seems as of lately the bike does not charge at high rpm. At idle I get about 12-13v as soon as I bring the RPMs up the output voltage drops to about 6 volts. Not really sure what to test here. I'm assuming I have a bad reg/rec as I swapped out my stator with a spare with no resolve.

Poured thru your previous posts to figure out what you're working with.
Appears to be a mostly stock 1979 model, with HHB PMA kit installation.

RG had a suggestion to check your reg/rec cooling here:

Other things come to mind:

- PMA rotor slipping on crankshaft
- Vibration induced intermittant connectivity
- Faulty/failed reg/rec

I don't know the answer but that problem seems to crop up a lot lately.

Check for two leads being shorted to one another. Solder joints and insulated covers aren't dull, cut, burnt etc
