My brakes squeal when they heat up. I think they're glazed and was wondering if I could blast them with a media blaster? Figured it would scuff them up without tearing them up.

Sure. The guy that resurfaced mine media blasted them first. Maybe all you need.

XS650 GRAND HACK
You could just turn them down a few thousandths on a Lathe or brake machine. Or you can get real hillbilly with it and hit it with a 3m Scotch brite pad!

Can't be turned on a brake lathe. Must be ground on a Blanchard grinder. Well wowth the $35.00 for a nice true rotor. I may have XS1100 rear that will fit if needed.
