I'm currently in the meticulous phase of getting my carbs sorted on a 1980 xs650 special with Mikuni BS34 carbs. From doing a bit of research here and elsewhere, I'll likely be replacing the butterfly shaft seals.
I spotted this link from 5Twins regarding some Suzuki seals that work with 1980 BS34 carbs..

Real question is, should I just go ahead and replace my carb boots while I'm at it. I've got some noticeable cracks in the rubber. But I'm not sure if it's catastrophic. From what I can tell these are the original boots from 1980 as I spotted the ARS stamping.
I believe 650central still has the TourMax iteration if they need to be replaced. Sumo Rubber looks to be closed down. Any other favorites for OEM carb boots? All thoughts appreciated.
Thanks!
