Cheap Rebel Gas Tanks on E-blag

Has anyone bit on one of those $100 Rebel gas tanks with the 3.4Gal capacity, including the gas cap and keys? Seems like a pretty cheap way to go if it's the look you're after. I was wondering if you guys think it would work with the Mikes Cafe seat, or if the style's all wrong.

i can tell you the rebel tanks look goodon the xs but you will needto move the petcock back in tank . it wont clear themotor . i got 1 of those tanks but it was like 60 bucks. i have no problem in changing petcock location. i can try an get pictureof it later

I am actually using the rebel tank on my bobber and depending on you mount it with a little tweaking you can leave the petcock as is. Here is a pic of mine.

The clearance is tight but it fits.

What did you bend ? The threads out some ? On a angle

Just pulled the bottom of the petcock out about 1/4 to 3/8 inch. I had an OEM rebel tank that had to have the bung moved back but the repop ones on ebay I think have the petcock placed slightly different.
