converting front 19" rim to the rear drum????

Im converting the front wheel from a 19" 36 spoke to a 21". I found the spokes from mikes and have a 21" already to do this but I also want to put the front 19" rim on the back with the 16" drum. Is this possible? Also how do I figure out if the angles on the rims will match with the hub just trial by error? do the new rims have to be the same width as the old rims?

width will be fine, as long as you dont go crazy with the tires, spoke angles may need adjusting with a drill. The biggest and most expensive part will be buying the correct length spokes from buchannans. Finding a stock 18" rear would be an easier option.
