This bike began life as a 1982 Yamaha XS650 Special
It comes in two separate configurations
Version A is a Café Racer
Version B is a more traditionally styled bike
- The bike is being sold with all the parts for both versions -
First off the bike was tore down to the bare frame
Then modifications were done to accommodate the required changes
The low mileage engine on the bike is essentially stock but upgrades have been made with the use of a Permanent Magnet Alternator & a Pamco electronic ignition
Mikuni VM34 round slide carbs have been used for fuel delivery
They have been fitted to custom fabricated intakes with free flowing pod filters
A super rare N.O.S. Bennelli (MOJAVE) seat & tank combo have been used
These were powder coated with a custom “BLUE MURDER” finish
Yamaha tank badges were added for the finishing touch
The list of new & custom parts is nearly endless and they include:
• New speed rated tires fitted to original AKRONT aluminum wheels
• N.O.S. Jardine 1 ¾” head pipes fitted to tapered mufflers
• New Acewell Digital Speedometer & tachometer
• New custom modified Loaded Gun rear sets
• New multi-function handle bar control unit
• New braided stainless steel brake lines
• New Anti-Gravity 8 cell LI-ION battery
• New billet aluminum bar end mirrors
• New Bronze swing arm bushings
• New tapered steering bearings
• New BiltWell L.E.D. tail light
• New Nissan master cylinder
• New front brake calipers
• New brake shoes & pads
• New black clubman bars
• New black Euro bend bars
• New Monza sport shocks
