draining the oil

right on guys, thanks for all the input...got the oil drained, and the motor removed from the frame, time to tear it apart...at my work we used to be the old yamaha dealer in town and still have all the inventory so i will grab new crush washers at work tomorrow, found carb rebuild kits, rubber intake manifolds, fork seals etc. all at work still in the original packages....now correct me if i am wrong but i would assume the front drain plug drains the motor, and the rear drains the transmission...yes???

Yes one plug for each. Some pull only the front plug when changing the oil, I like to pull both plugs. This gets more oil out. Leaving some in there is like putting dirty oil back in. Don't make sence to me.
