2many conjectures that diodes might be a good idea.
mIt may be installed soon, but not tested until about March. I think I've changed my plans. I may go whole hog on the installation. Someone has to do it, try it. 3 ohm dual output coil, Tytronic's orange and gray wire spliced together before connecting to the coil primary. I'll use no diodes or ballast resistor, maybe an inline fuse on the red wire of the Tytronic.

so again Im calling on the pixie spark wranglers out there, you guys know who you are, I have one guy here in Portland but I think he is kinda a novice, there isn't that much to a E advancer, althou What I want to see is an e advancer that we can select our advance curve for things like gasoline quality, or higher compression, or whatever may require a costomised curve, AGAIN Im not trying to produce something to put anyone out of bussniess and since there isn't already one out there that does that customized curve, ALSO Im talking about doing this as a collaboration, and OPEN SOURSE , that means the plans are free to see and change if you think you can improve upon it.. I might even contact some guys on an electronics forum, if I knew what I was looking for lol
anyways WE can have it , if we stop waiting for someone else to make it and we do it ourselfs

No, that wuzn't me.
If the electronic ignition is the simple "grounding transistor" type (like points grounding), then they can be tied together to drive a single dual-output coil. The catch is the *dwell*. If the dwell is too long, one module could be connecting to ground before the other has a chance to "open up", or connect to ground before the other module's "open period" can complete its ignition timeframe. This won't break anything, it just wouldn't spark.
Good one, Gary. That's the same circuit, in principle, as the old Martek ignition...
In my defense I have installed fired up and run the Vape charging, ignition system on a bike that was a deep project. So there!I also have a Tytronics unit that like gggGary's it is sitting on the work bench. I was waiting for someone to figure out the coil or coils and the advance unit. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but............
