Engine mount differences?

Is there any engine mount differences between the various models, specifically around the rear mounts?

Yes there are early and late mounts. I will have to recheck but I think up to 73 is early, 74 on are late. So any mounts any model after 74 interchange.

I think the early bikes without the electric starter were different around the rear mounts and won't swap around without some mods. In 74 they redesigned the frames. From what I understand you can swap engines around from the 72 up but on the 72-73 you need to use 72-73 mounts. Basically use mounts that match the year of the frame.
