engine noise

for some reason my engine is making a really loud noise, it just started, i have no miles on the motor, the noise gets louder the more gas you give it , the noise sounds like the something is rubbing on something in the motor, i just put new rings,had the cylinders honed,head done,front cam chain guide, anyone have an idea?

Is the cam chain tensioned properly & does the tensioner have the dampner installed (small rubber backed washer).
I did up an SR500 once & left the dampner out - my god what a racket.....

just tore motor down today, found that the rear cam chain guide is all messed up, must of been to tight, now i will have to replace it along with the gaskets and do it all over, thanks
