Hey guys, in my procrastination from actually wiring my ride, I found this website and figured I would share the link for those in the same predicament as me... rewiring from scratch for the first time 
The guide spans from really basic explanation of what each component does, to designing custom circuits and covers motorcycles with points or electronic ignition and trikes (with car engines). I haven't read all of it yet, but so far I like what I see.
