Howdy all! I picked up this beauty today from a co-worker.
I've got a buncha vintage Honda's but this is the first Yamaha I've had since high school.
The bike's been parked under a cover in a garage since '99. The PO drained the tank & carbs before storage. It comes with a ton of spares from a '75 his brother parted out and all the manuals and maintenance records.
Anyway, I wasn't looking for another bike but for only a little more than $1 per cc I couldn't say no.:D

Nice forum you have here, looks like all the info I'll need is here!:)

That is very nice. It appears to have had a few tasteful mods done (drilled disc, chrome front motor mount and footpegs from a Special). About all I'd do is install Euro bars and stainless spokes.

Yes, actually the PO had the parts chromed. Kickstand too.
He said a buddy of his with a machine shop drilled the disk.
