Gauge Faces

Hi there,

Found this forum a few weeks ago, after buying an xs650 project...and this place is a goldmine! So much good info. Just based on what I could find on the site, I am already mid-way through a Fazer brake upgrade.

One item I do want to do, but can't find a source, is put on some new gauge faces. I saw there are some threads about a major rehaul of the gauges (mounting them in the headlight), but I am looking simply for some new faces. Without having a one-off set made, does anyone produce these? I would love to have something similar to what Lossa Engineering has for the CB500/750...as featured on Cafe Racer.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I haven't seen anybody that does XSs specifically. Doesn't mean there isn't. Over at the cb750cafe.com they do a lot of gauge faces and there is a how to on taking apart the Honda ones.

My appologies...I am working with a 1979 XS650. Supposidly, the bike only has 2,800 miles on it...and the gauges support that claim.
