As ther tittle says the bike isn't holding a charge and I'm dieing to ride in this beautiful Texas weather

you would be better off spending the money on a permanent magnet swap if you plan on keeping the bike. Just my opinion.

there is a rebuild service on ebay, that will save you some cash.
