Ground cable on XS2

Does anyone have a picture of where the ground cable from the battery attaches to the motor?
Also has anyone installed a replacement wiring harness from Mikes on an XS2?

It bolts right here on the rear of the engine case. I have no experience with the Mikes harness.

Thanks Mailman, I’m really struggling with the wiring. Think I just need to relax and bite off a little at a time

Yeah you’ll get there, just take one thing at a time. There are wiring diagrams in the tech section.

I have used the harness from Mikes on my 72. Going on 12 years with no issues

I haven’t dug into it yet but as I have been working on getting it routed correctly but it doesn’t look like the colors at the rear of the harness match up with the tail/brake/signal wires.
I will start on that this week
