how do I remove starter on olds 3.8

I need to replace the starter on a 1986 olds 98 3.8 starter is unbolted but there is a lot of stuff in the way to remove it. I noticed from reading alot of you guys are auto techs, and maybe could help. Googled it but it hasn't been helpful.

I had a 1980 Cutlass and a friend had an 84 with the 3.8. I think we had to unbolt an engine mount to get it out? Can't remember exactly. 22 years ago! Mine had the Gutless motor, the 262 V-8, and I had to remove the wheels to change the rear plugs.
Perhaps someone else has a better memory. Sorry I'm not more help.
