how much up/down play in spoked wheels?

i just re-spoked. got em true side to side but have a little up/down. how much is o.k? do the wheel weights when balanced compensate?

My old Yamaha service manual says .079 for vertical and horizontal runout limits.

No, the balance will have no effect on out of round. If to far out you might not get them to balance.
Most of my references quote 1/16 inch max. Thats .0625. You should be able to get it better than that. My wheels run less than .010.
