I got forked. Thinking about putting a TX750 front end on my XS2. LONG!!

Well it's done. More or less. Still gotta get a hub.

I took the easy path like you said Gary and put a spacer under the bottom race. It made everything else fall into place. What I used is a old bearing race. It looks like stainless. What are races made of. Sometime down the line, or maybe I will stiil do it now, I will shorten the triple stem. I was just in a hurry to mock it up and see what it looks like and if it would work.

I was able to use the XS2 headlight. That tickles me to death because mine is fairly nice. I need to come up with a couple of spacers there too. But they will be covered by a chrome piece that goes across the forks.

The hardest part was grafting the gauge mount onto the TX triple. It took a lot of time. Cut and fit, cut and fit. I used and old mount and I will now transfer the notches to a new one that I have.

So now its just a matter of cleaning everything up and painting the triples. And of course I gotta get a hub.

But I'm calling this fork ordeal done. :D

Thanks for all your help guys. Cal
