Saw an ad in Kijiji and jumped on it. A '76 relatively complete and sort of unmolested and a '79 which would look better in boxes. Preliminary thoughts on the 76 have me thinking about doing it as a survivor. I have to look at the frame mods on the 79, it looks like someone was thinking brat, and stopped before cutting off the centre stand! It will rest in a dry place for a while.

Man you got a trailer full. That 70's chopper is. . . . what it is.
Now the fun starts?

I have a couple of brand new coils, points , condenser , advance springs , lots of gaskets and seals, and all new clutch parts ++ stock exhaust, lots of little bits , transmission , .... let me know if you need anything ,I am in Scarborough, by Kingston Rd. and Danforth Av.

Chopper's right side case with kick starter is missing, wanna bet that motor's seized? The other one turns nice and has compression.

On further investigation, the motor in the 76 has come out of the "chopper" and the one in the"chopper" is a different number from either of them (447-400800) Amazingly, despite my misgivings, it rotates as well. These two are going to rest for a while until I get other projects done.
