Mikes mini speedo

Im trying to figure out what to do for a speedometer for my xs, stock one is huge, ugly and sold already. I saw all of mikes mini speedos, does anyone know if they use the stock speedo cable that goes to the front wheel? I sold my old spacer/drive unit with my other wheel, and im trying to figure out if i need another one of if i can just get a custom spacer to replace the spacer/drive unit.

Mine uses the stock cable/ drive unit. It came from Mike's

It conects to the stock cable, drive system. I bought the short extension too so I can mount it back and facing me. The stock cable comes up short and forces you to install it foward and facing up. I guess it depends on your install and location though. Mine has the LED indicators built in too, It work okay so far.
