Build a 72 ish XS650 with a sidecar before 2027 XS650.com calendar nominations.I’m on it.
.

I believe @DogBunny has a thread on the differences on the front end over the years. Maybe look at his threads...Unsure of what the final front end I’ll use.At this time I’m staying with the original 72 from the frame. I’m going to remove and rework and preserve the original front end and components regardless. I need to keep the project a roller.Trying to use what I have here left.Help please;Frame neck depth:70-73 =6.5 ? 74 further until 79 =7.5 ? I’ll look back through old threads,I know it’s here.Any quick tip of the thread or threads,TYIA.
If you don't try, you'll never know...Seat pad started.First piece of leather fabric cut for initial pattern.Done some basic upholstery through the years.May splurge and have a shop make one if mine is to tacky.Gotta try first.![]()
Unquestionably.If you don't try, you'll never know...![]()

Remember what it was like trying to get a good rattle can finish, say 30yrs ago?
