New side cover decals!! check them out

This is a side cover decal that I made for my xs650. My bike is a 1979 Special, and I absolutely HATE the horrible gold plastic "SPECIAL" badges.

I made this in Photoshop and am having a local sign shop print me out a bunch on automotive adhesive vinyl. The area inside the grey box behind where it says "xs650" is clear, so the paint color of the bike shows through. The gold in the "V" matches the gold of the plastic "YAMAHA" tank badge on the 1978 and up models.

I'll post up some pics of it on my bike once they arrive!

What do you guys think?

PS: If anyone wants a set I can have more printed. They are 5 inches long.

I like it but I'd ditch the V. The V was the signature emblem of chevy telling you it had a V8. Now, if the XS was a v-twin I could see it but since it's not I wouldn't go with it. Just my 2 cents, no disrespect.

I think the Specials has a sorta checkmark under the name... but ya the Chevs used the V for the V8s... still do on SUV's.

Here is my more basic logo... just ma 2 pennies.

More of a check mark than a vee. One side is much longer.
