Not really madness, but this can be maddening.... as in nerve wracking...
Vinyl cutouts have some artifacts on 'em. It happens. Even the high high dollars cutouts sometimes have 'em.
Patience and a fresh Exacto blade are the order of the day.

These cutouts are less than an inch tall, if that gives you an idea....
Not 100% removed, but good enough that you won't notice after the clear's on.

Rear fender...
We'll just say I'm not gonna use the fender Gary sent me and jus' leave it at that.... ;)

Scrounged around my pile of fenders and found one worthy of Madness.
Like a lot of 'em, it's cracked in the back. I've tried welding 'em in the past... and they always seem to crack around the weld. Lets try brazing this time.
Took the torch and burned inside the flange then wire brushed it for cleanliness.

Cut off a drill bit the right size, stuffed it in there and bent the flange back around it.

Got it hot and flowed some brass in there. This is where the extra time cleaning pays in bonuses.

Now I jus' got a little body work to do on it and it's ready to prime.
