If I don't absolutely have to wear shoes, that's what I wear. It's certainly the case right now. (Yes, I wear proper shoes on a motorcycle.)
You need propped safety shoes - Crocs. I wear them all the time. And best of all, only $5 from the cheap shop. The inserts are optional for people like me with high arches.

Recovery on my foot surgery is progressing. Slowly... but progressing..... :cautious: Staples, all 25 of 'em came out Tuesday. Yeah... don't ask. Anyway....
Terry... @46th Georgia sent me a test card back when I first got hobbled. Sue set it out in the garage back then and I finally ventured out there today. This is a mix he came up with for Yamaha Star Black. Kinda hard to tell from a pic, but I think he hit a home run!!

Good to hear your on the road to recovery.

No inside info but a chance of that happening is why I'm so anal about sealing paint edges around fuel caps and petock holes. Few painters take the time to move the masking at those spots so the final clear seals the undercoats. The "newer", LOL) two part primers are less prone to it, but bathed in fuel the edge where the masking was removed can let gas get UNDER the top coat dissolving and expanding undercoats as it works it's way in.
Dumb ass lost one paint job when I filled the tank at a gas station right next to the evenings motel at a rally. Bike sat in the sun warmed the fuel, it overflowed and got under the clear coat where buffing had exposed a decal edge. fortunately the painter was able to replace the decal and reclear the tank.. That paint had "cured" for several years before I installed the tank.

Been a day or two....

So, Madness' tins are done. Tank turned into quiet the ordeal... all of my own making I might add. All the way back in June... the day before my foot surgery iirc, I cleared the tank and vinyl... and got contamination. FUCK!!!

That was taken just after I shot... clear was still wet. 'Bout a week after surgery, I hobbled my ass down to the paint room to have a look. Shhh.... don't tell Sue. Anyway, fisheyes had settled down quiet a bit and I figured I could save it.... after I could actually walk again that is.
Fast forward to about a week ago and I started sanding the fish eyes out of it. There was a few on the vinyl, and after reading Gary's comment above about gas getting under the edge of some stickers on one of his tanks, decided to go back over the decals with about 3 more coats of clear. Buffed all that out and here we are.

And of course, we can't forget the B-2 challenge coin shot...

So... here's the dilemma. Gary was worried the YAMAHA would be too big. I sorta shared that concern and when I initially cleared it, was pretty certain it was too big. After a week (off and on) of working on it, it's kinda grown on me. Now I think it looks good. I think Gary's still in the too big camp, but I'll let him speak for himself.

Time for the Borg Collective to shout out. What sayeth the hive, to big, too small or just right???
