Just wrapped up my Pamco ultimate install w/o e-advance. Apart from getting the coil mounted with the recommended clamps from home depot, this thing was a snap to get installed. Seems like there is really only one way this will fit under the tank with those clamps, mine ended up with the wires pointed slightly up- any other way would have had them smashed against the tank, seems like there's plenty of clearance this way though.
The bike kicked over first try, which I was not expecting. Timing was almost dead on from the start, only took a few seconds with the timing light and pushing the unit around with a chopstick (didn't want to shock myself or short anything out) til it lined up with the marks. I was a little shocked how simple it was.
The bikes idles like a rock now, starts super easy, and runs probably better than it ever has. For anyone considering I'd totally recommend, well worth the money and time, plus knowing you never have to mess with points again!
