Piece-O-Crap Aftermarket Gas Cap

As part of my bobber build, I replace the xs650 Standard gas cap with an aftermarket one from MikesXS.
Got to work this morning and this is what I found.

Looks like the screw that held in the lock barrel vibrated loose. My lock is somewhere on the road of my 50 mile commute.
Anyone got a Standard cap in nice shape (note they are different than the special caps)?

ah...man that sucks. better get your money back, or get a replacement and loctite that screw on the next one. \
can you open it?

Use the key barrel from your old cap and you have fixed the broken cap plus you can use the ignition key to open the cap.

angus67: I bought it a few years ago, I don't think they will replace it now.

Tomterrific: The key barrels are different than stock, doesn't fir.

I can get it open by sticking something in there and pushing a tab back.
